Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 20 May 2025  ·  Effective: 20 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Sri Kasih's website at srikasih.live and the family law services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, please contact us before proceeding — we are happy to explain any clause in plain language.

Sri Kasih provides advisory and guidance services in the areas of child custody and guardianship, family mediation, and marital agreement preparation, operating from No. 18, Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Section 1

Nature of Our Services

Sri Kasih offers supportive guidance and advisory assistance for family law matters. Our practitioners work with you to understand your situation, explain available options, and assist with documentation and process steps. We operate at a pace suited to your needs.

Our services are not a substitute for independent legal representation in contested court proceedings. For matters that require formal legal representation before a court, we will advise you accordingly and, where appropriate, recommend qualified legal counsel.

All services are provided subject to the laws of Malaysia, including the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act 1976, the Guardianship of Infants Act 1961, and applicable provisions of the Syariah courts where relevant to the parties' circumstances.

Section 2

Engagement and Fees

An engagement with Sri Kasih begins when both parties have agreed to the scope of service in writing and the initial fee arrangement has been confirmed. Our current service fees are as follows:

Service Fee
Child Custody and Guardianship Support RM 580
Family Mediation Assistance RM 1,040
Marital Agreement Advisory RM 1,300

Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of service tax where applicable. Fees cover the scope agreed at the outset. Where your needs change during the engagement, we will discuss any adjustment transparently and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

We do not apply pressure around payment. If you have questions or concerns about fees at any point, please raise them with us — we are committed to being straightforward about costs.

Section 3

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that family circumstances can change and that appointments sometimes need to be rescheduled. We ask for as much notice as practical so we can accommodate others who may be waiting for appointments.

If you need to pause or step back from an engagement for personal reasons, please let us know. We will hold your file and resume at a time that suits you where circumstances allow.

Section 4

Confidentiality

All information shared with Sri Kasih in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential. We do not share client information with third parties except where:

Our confidentiality obligation continues after the conclusion of an engagement. For full details of how your personal data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Section 5

Your Responsibilities

To allow us to support you as fully as possible, we ask that you:

Section 6

Limitation of Liability

Sri Kasih provides advisory and guidance services in good faith and with reasonable care. However, we cannot accept liability for outcomes in legal proceedings, decisions made by courts or other authorities, or the conduct of third parties.

Our total liability to you in connection with any service engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

Governing Law and Disputes
